Texas Instruments MSP430 and Stellaris Microcontroller Workshops

  • Getting Started with Cortex-M3 and StellarisWare  Workshop
TI’s Stellaris line of ARM® Cortex® - M3 and M4 embedded microcontrollers offer high end communication peripherals like USB, Ethernet and CAN together with a highly capable 100MIPS core.

Creating software applications that quickly utilize those parts could be a time-consuming chore, but TI has StellarisWare; an extensive suite of software designed to simplify and speed development of Stellaris-based microcontroller applications.

Quick Start Programming with the MSP430 Launchpad  Workshop
TI's  MSP430™16-bit Ultra-Low Power MCUs are a great multipurpose MCU that features the industry’s lowest power consumption.  They have been world famous for its low power consumption for decades, but now with our new low cost G2xx Value Series we have solutions priced as low as $0.25 at 1k volumes.
  • Getting Started with Cortex-M3 and StellarisWare:

    - Introduction to Cortex-M3 and Stellaris peripherals
    - Overview of Code Composer Studio 4.1
    - Introduction to StellarisWare initialization and GPIO
    - Working with interrupts and the timer
    - Use of the ADC10 analog-to-digital converter
    - Using the PWM module
    - Working with the graphics library
    - Implementing low power modes
    - Using the Ethernet peripheral

Quick Start Programming on with MSP430 Launchpad:

    - Introduction to the Value Line series of products
    - Overview of Code Composer Studio 4.1
    - Initialization of the MSP430 and programming the GPIO
    - Use of the ADC10 analog-to-digital converter
    - Working with interrupts and the timer
    - Optimizing your code for low-power operation
    - Using serial communications
    - Learning to use Capacitive Touch
    - Using the Grace peripheral configuration GUI
    - Overview of FRAM technology to be presented during lunchtime (no lab)
  • Two for One Deal!
