Simplifies Audio Soundstage Design

Mobile consumer devices offer impressive visuals, but the overall experience is diminished by space-constrained audio lacking clarity and depth. Audio applications suffer from a limited soundstage, where multiple speakers sound like just one because of their close placement. Designing these systems typically requires programming complex algorithms and DSPs.

To help solve these design challenges, Texas Instruments is announcing a truly easy-to-use solution offering more choices when designing high-fidelity audio systems. The LM48901 is the first in a family of audio products providing spatially-enhanced audio solutions for multi-speaker applications.
