The Intel® Xeon® processor E3-1200 series is based on the next-generation Intel® micro architecture, codename Sandy Bridge, and 32nm process technology. It features quad-core processing and intelligent performance capabilities, including Intel® Turbo Boost Technology1 and Intel® Hyper- Threading Technology2. When paired with the Intel® C206 chipset, this platform provides Error Correcting Code (ECC) and flexible PCI Express capabilities, making it ideal for a wide range of embedded applications, including network appliance and other communication devices, gaming platforms, digital security surveillance applications, and industrial control and automation equipment. For dual-core processing, this chipset can also be paired with the Intel® Core™ i3-2120 processor.
